United Nation Charter Article 1,2 and Article 55 provides for self determination for all people (with Euro-eccentric prejudices) i.e at the time of negotiating the UN charter (1939-1945), self determination was not implied for colonies.
In 1960’s “African leaders confirmed the territorial status quo at the time of Independence and pledged to consider the former internal colonial division lines as the new international borders”
According to “principle of nationalities” in International law
“Right to become independent exit today in favor of non-self governing territories and people subjected to alien subjugation”
In reality, Africa have never built a true nation or state through negotiations and agreements of its constituents.
What we have is alien subjugation by proxy using agent (Africans) to ensure colonial structures remain for perpetual exploitation.
Reason Africa resources is not for the benefits of Africans. Reason for the confusions, Reason for the unhealthy tribal rivalry, Reason for manipulation and corruptions.
The New generation of Africans have the task to dismantle this setup and build a true African state for all Africans, where each ethnic group autonomously rule themselves in a united African framework where military, economic/monetary, foreign polices are jointly implemented through an African congress comprised of ethnic groups representatives.
Oodua, Biafra, Arewa, Ambazionia, Oromo nation, Xhosa nation, Zulu nation, REWANDA, etc, also collation of groups together like Niger delta which consist of several tribes, all represented in the African Congress for united front while managing their internal affairs autonomously.
Else we pass down Neo-colonial structures to future generation with imaginary African unity from the club for colonial agents called AU, then continue the vicious circle.
